Eopsaltria australis
This robin spent considerable time whacking the centipede against the timber.
Very close by, but out of view, off to the robin's left is an immature robin which was making a considerable noise.
I assumed the adult bird was going to feed the young bird but at one point it briefly dropped the centipede and flew at the young bird giving it a fair pounding before returning to its centipede tenderising.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see if it eventually fed the young bird.
